Build the future of smart access management and mobility with Skopei as an Application Developer (iOS)

At Skopei, everything revolves around a reliable, secure platform and the hardware linked to it. Our mobile app is the starting point for many users to work with that platform and hardware, and we also offer a web environment via our Skopei Connect portal where users can manage their tasks. To take both further in terms of functionality, ease of use and reliability, we are looking for an Application Developer (iOS) who, with an eye for quality, will help build products that really matter. In addition to the iOS app, you will also work on the frontend of Skopei Connect (React).

We are consciously looking for someone who does not see this variety between mobile and web as an afterthought, but rather as an exciting challenge and a way to be broadly involved in our platform. This is an independent, hands-on development role within a small team, at our location in Rijswijk.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain our native iOS application in Swift

• Help build the frontend of our Skopei Connect portal in React

• Translate business requirements and user needs into well-thought-out, maintainable features, both on mobile and web.

• Ensure a smooth connection between the app, the portal, our backend (APIs) and the hardware in the field

• Monitor quality through code reviews, tests and attention to performance and stability

• Contribute ideas on the architecture and the further development of both the app and the portal

• Manage releases via the App Store, including version control and release management

• Collaborate with development, hardware and product teams to bring features from idea to live deployment

You will regularly work independently on features, but you are just as much part of a small, close-knit team.

Who are you?

• You have at least a completed higher professional education (HBO) in a relevant (technical) field
• You have 3+ years of experience with native iOS development in Swift

• You are familiar with Apple ecosystem tools (Xcode, SwiftUI and/or UIKit) and the App Store release process

• You have experience with (or are enthusiastic about diving into) frontend development in React

• You see the variety between mobile (iOS) and web (React) as a challenge and a plus point, not as an afterthought

• You have experience in linking apps to APIs; knowledge of connections to hardware (for example via Bluetooth or other protocols) is a strong advantage

• You have an eye for user-friendliness, quality and maintainable code

• You can independently take on tasks based on business requirements
