Build the future of smart access management and mobility with Skopei as a DevOps & Security Engineer

At Skopei, everything revolves around a reliable, secure platform and the hardware linked to it. To further strengthen our cloud and security landscape and to ease the workload of our development team, we are looking for a DevOps & Security Engineer who combines the best of both worlds: building and managing secure cloud infrastructure and helping to build our applications.

This is a broad, independent role within a small team, at our location in Rijswijk.

What are you going to do

• Working on a secure cloud architecture and configuring cloud security services within Azure
• Management and configuration of our CI/CD pipelines, including incorporating security scanning, secret management, and audit trails

• Ensuring correct data encryption and firewall configuration

• Performing cloud security audits and handling security incident response

• Management of platform monitoring

• Management of our network, including our IoT devices in the field.

• Helping build features in C#, so that you actively contribute to development and support the team

You regularly work independently on tasks and features, but are just as much part of a small, close-knit team.

Who are you?

• You have at least a completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree, preferably with a security direction or focus

• You have 3+ years of experience with the Azure cloud platform in a similar role

• You have experience with infrastructure as code and cloud engineering

• You are familiar with cloud security principles

• You program in C#. Knowledge of Python (and possibly other languages we use on the hardware) is a strong plus

• You can independently pick up tasks based on business requirements

• You enjoy working in the office
