Quickly and easily set up a reliable and customer-friendly mobility company by combining our Smart Bike Locks with Topology. Equip your bike fleet with our Smart Bike Locks and manage them through the Topology platform. Customers can easily book, pay, and unlock a bike. Through the management interface, you have real-time insight into the fleet.
Your offering can be publicly available, allowing any user of the Topology platform to rent a bike. However, you also have the option to grant access only to a specific group of users. This way, you maintain control over both users and bikes.

This way, your operation runs entirely on your own backend, with only digital key management and telemetry services provided by Skopei. This ensures that customer interfaces and data streams are separate from the smart locks.
A renter easily reserves a bike, accepts the rental terms (including the costs), and goes through a step-by-step process in which the bike is inspected by the renter. Only after the renter's approval, the digital key is released in the app, allowing the renter to unlock and start the bike lock.

Bike sharing as a mobility provider with our smart bike locks in practice.
The integration of the smart locks occurs seamlessly. Therefore, the user is unaware of Skopei's existence. The user can unlock a bike lock using NFC tags, Bluetooth, or a PIN code. The integration of Bluetooth takes place through your application, while NFC tags or PIN codes are transmitted to the Skopei Connect Service via the backend. In both cases, the user remains unaware of this process.
Management
The logic of your proposition remains ensured in your backend system. Skopei, through the Skopei Connect Service, provides a data warehouse where your analytics and operations departments can retrieve insights. This ensures a clear delineation of responsibilities, data ownership, and customer contact.
Costs
For the use of Smart Bike Locks in combination with Skopei Connect, you only pay a monthly fee starting from €4 per month per smart lock. If you wish to store your data in a privately hosted data warehouse, we charge €1,125 per month. If you already have your own data warehouse, we offer an API integration for €350 per month for up to 1000 smart bike locks.

With Skopei's smart digital bike lock, the Public Transport Bike (OV-fiets) is opened using the public transport chip card (OV-chipkaart). Convenient for the traveler, and it eliminates the need for NS to manage physical locks.
