What does the role of Senior Backend Developer at Skopei entail?

As a Senior Backend Developer at Skopei, you contribute daily to building new features for our Topology software. You also monitor and enhance the existing infrastructure. You'll be part of a team comprising enthusiastic developers and a product owner. Together with them, you are responsible for the correct backend implementations to keep Topology fast, stable, and scalable. You work in bi-weekly sprints based on Scrum methodology, utilizing tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Zeplin, Miro, and Lucidchart.

What you bring to the table...

  • An IT-related HBO/WO degree
  • Experience with web applications and knowledge of C# .NET and .NET Core (a plus)
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience in developing REST APIs
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps (a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of software design patterns
  • The willingness and experience to be able to lead a team
  • Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus
